Stores & Despatch Associates

We are looking to recruit Stores & Despatch Associates who will report to the Stores Team Leader and provide accurate kits to the production team in a timely & to ensure all goods are booked in/out correctly. In addition, to provide an excellent delivery service to our customers and ensure that goods are delivered in a timely manner and in good order.

Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Make up kits accurately for production and ensure correct parts and quantity at all times to keep manufacturing down time to a minimum
  • Pack and prepare finished goods for shipping, in line with company standards, or specific customer requirements
  • Ensure that all goods are transacted correctly in a timely fashion
  • Accurately control the return of parts that come back to stores from production and update the system accordingly to ensure accuracy of data and reduce attrition
  • Ensure that all goods are stored and handled correctly, to ensure that quality is maintained, and damage is prevented
  • When required, deliver goods to Fabrinet customers using the company van
  • Work closely with the Supply Chain team on any part shortages to ensure that when the goods are received they are booked in efficiently, and moved to production
  • Full compliance with all company policies and procedures including security requirements, Human Resources policies/procedures and Health and Safety policies/ procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and compliant working environment at all times

Key Skills/Experience

 

  • Good communication skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Computer literate
  • Full, clean UK driving license, & commercial driving experience is desirable
  • Previous experience within a Stores environment is desirable
  • Maintain a clean, safe and compliant working environment at all times
